Israeli Fire Kills Four Palestinians, Including Two Children in West Bank

(MENAFN) Four Palestinians, among them two children, lost their lives in multiple incidents across the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, according to statements from the Palestinian Health Ministry.

Officials said two individuals were shot dead in the town of al-Mughayyir, located east of Ramallah, after Israeli occupiers opened fire. One of those killed was identified as a child, and three others were reported injured in the same incident, raising the total number of fatalities reported since the morning to four. The victims in al-Mughayyir were named as Aws Hamdi al-Naasan, 14, and Jihad Marzouq Abu Naim, 32.

In a separate development in Jenin in the northern part of the territory, a 49-year-old man, Raja Fadel Baitawi, died from injuries he had sustained during an earlier Israeli military raid, the ministry said.

Meanwhile, in Hebron in the south, 16-year-old Mohammed Majdi al-Jaabari was killed after being struck by a vehicle driven by an Israeli occupier. Witnesses and medical personnel indicated that the teenager was hit while on a street and died at the scene.

Local accounts also reported that clashes erupted in al-Mughayyir after Israeli occupiers entered the outskirts of the town and began shooting at residents, resulting in deaths and injuries.
