Israeli Military Braces for Prolonged Confrontation with Iran

(MENAFN) The Israeli military believes the current conflict with Iran is likely to continue for “several days,” according to Israeli media reports on Monday, as both sides continue exchanging attacks.

Israeli broadcaster reported that military assessments indicate the confrontation is not expected to end immediately and could persist for several more days.

The report also said the army has begun preparations for a large-scale mobilization of reserve forces, although no additional details were provided.

Meanwhile, Israel’s Home Front Command has expanded public safety measures and extended restrictions on movement and gatherings across the country through Monday evening.

According to public broadcaster, updated guidelines permit gatherings of up to 200 people outdoors and 500 people indoors, provided participants can reach a protected area within the required time frame.

The measures also include the closure of public beaches. Businesses, however, may continue operating if suitable protected spaces are available and accessible within the designated response time, the report added.
